When Frames Disagree, Prefer Silence Over Cleverness

Trader reviewing a marked price chart

Alignment Drill Intensive spends half a day on conflicts. A rising weekly structure with a falling hour chart is not a puzzle to solve with more indicators—it is a pause signal until one side accepts the other. Students keep a short log: aligned, soft conflict, hard conflict.

Hard conflicts require written stand-down language before size is discussed. Soft conflicts may allow reduced size only if the higher map still owns the bias and the lower chart is merely noisy. The discipline feels slow at first. After twenty graded examples, most traders see that the costly days were the ones where they forced a compromise narrative neither frame supported.
